Meliovate is operated by AGENCITY VIDEO MARKETING S.R.L. in Bilghez, Sălaj, Romania. It was founded by Oszkár Köteles, a beekeeper with more than 30 years of field experience, and is built by beekeepers for beekeepers.
How much does Meliovate cost?
The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card: 1 apiary and up to 30 colonies. Pro removes the limits and costs $29.97 per month or $229.70 per year. Plans can be cancelled at any time.
Do I need any hardware to use the platform?
No. The platform works on its own as a digital hive log, planner and academy. The IoT devices are optional additions that connect to the same account.
Which IoT devices does Meliovate offer?
Eight devices: MSM-1 (automatic feeder and stimulation module), MSC-1 (Sense Core), MIS-1 (intelligent scale), MHS-1 (heating system), MHB-1 (smart hive bottom), MWM-1 (Weather Mini), MSL-1 (syrup level sensor) and MCS-1 (NFC control system). Each device page shows its current development status.
How does the automatic feeding strategy work?
The platform builds a week-by-week stimulation plan from the season, the colony strength and a 16-day weather forecast. With the MSM-1 module the plan is carried out automatically; without it, the same plan guides manual feeding.
Is my beekeeping data safe?
Sensitive data is protected with AES-256 encryption. Your records stay yours: Meliovate stores them on your behalf, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
